Our Staff

I have been on staff at Round Prairie since March of 2016. I have been married to my wife Julie since 2001 and we have 3 great kids: Caleb, Joshua, and Lily. While Julie is from Fairfield originally, I am a move in and originally from Maydelle, TX. I have been in ministry since 2003 and have served in churches in Arkansas and Texas. I started in ministry at Round Prairie as a youth pastor. I attended the BMA seminary in Jacksonville, TX and received my M.A. in Church Ministries I have a passion to see the church on mission for the Great Commission. I believe that every member is a minister, therefore I believe that every Christian has been gifted specifically in order to accomplish God’s plans. My hobbies include flying, traveling with my family, and watching college football. 

I joined the staff at Round Prairie in May of 2016. My wife, Jackie, and I have been married since 2003 and are blessed to have 3 amazing children: Elijah, Hadassah, and Naomi. I grew up in Corsicana, Texas and my wife grew up in Fairfield. I attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and graduated in 2003 with a B.A. in Religion. Since 2003, I have served as a bi-vocational Minister of Music, Worship Pastor, and Youth Minister. In addition, I received M. Ed from the University of Texas at Tyler in Educational Leadership and Administration. I currently teach Pre-Calculus and Algebra II at Fairfield High School. The blessing of knowing Christ Jesus personally is the passion that stirs my heart to worship and lead others to his throne.

I have been on staff at Round Prairie since June 2022.  I married my beautiful wife Lisie, in  1999 and we have been blessed with two sons, David (and sweet Daughter in Law, Belle) and Jonathan.  I'm originally from Australia and Lisie from Brazil but we have come to know and love Fairfield as home. I have been serving  in church  ministry since 1995 and have served with churches in Australia and the USA. I have a Bachelor of Arts from the QLD Conservatorium, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education from University of QLD, a Masters of Music and Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I strive to serve as a pastor who impacts lives through God’s Word, encouraging the body of believers in their journey with God by being a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1), and ministering God’s grace and love to each person through discipleship.
